I didn't see your light on but it is on now. I have been doing work on the pooter all evening. I have been checking up on my students. One of my classes is all computer based. All I do is monitor. I never seem to have enough time to run all my reports.

Thank you Tami and Heidi for my gold star! Tami, I had to "show my work" to get it correct. If i just started multiplying, I would forget something.
Heidi and Broni, I thought the same thing, Lucky soon will not fit under the gates
Julie, love your Easter Egg
Tami, you are really pushing your luck, all the BOPPs someone is going to sneak a post in there on ya and push you over the top hehehe

HI JULIE, good to see you, I am just now seeing your posts.
Yes, I noticed that 2 hour gap there also. You know, we are just helping out nature here, cause nature hates a void.

Good Night, MizT, and sleep well! Good Night to Heidi, also, as I suspect she will be feeding the dogs soon. I'm dragging and nearly need to prop my eyelids open, so I think I will call it a day. Hope to see everyone tomorrow!

Heidi, you never did answer my question about training Lucky.
Julie, MizT sorry I missed you but my floors look spotless until the Basset has her way.

It has been quite a day.
Started with the door bell at 1.30am and two policemen at the door. They needed to talk to June and Ken D urgently. You can imagine my heart went to my boots. They had apprehended a stolen car with a backpack with my purse and also Ken's wallet. Some one had entered our house while we had been watching TV. I breather a sigh of relief. The money, which was not an excessive amount was gone but all our cards where still there.
It was our own fault as with our silly cat that is still not eating properly and kept wanting to come in and go out we had left the door ajar and not put the chain on as Ken still had to put our the garbage. The police still have our things as evidence till they are fingerprinted (not sure why they were not done today) so we have no drivers licence, credit cards, etc. Hopefully we will get them back tomorrow.
Because I have been to the show the day before the purse was in the back pack and I had taken most of the money out as shows are not places to carry money.(I am having some extra cupboards built for the laundry and the chap likes cash or cheque and as I do not have a cheque book I had taken out extra last week to pay him when the cupboards are finished. I still have that money!)
I later remembered my camera is in the back pack so waiting to get it back to see if it is still there.

Then this morning I get a call from Sharon who had a headache and was very dizzy so I dropped everything to take Laura swimming and give Sharon a chance to have a sleep. Sharon was a bit better tonight but I guess her resistance will be low for some time. No teaching tomorrow! and Laura will be in daycare.
I did not get much sleep last night so feel rather tired myself.

June! What an awful experience! To think they were in your home with you.... I felt a shiver when I read your post.
The alternative reasons for a visit from the police don't even bear thinking about. I had one of those once.
Sending hugs and hope Sharon feels better after a day of rest.

I'm on a ffuts break. I think I'm spending too much time doing corners that noone will ever look at and not enough time on the things they will. I'll never get it all done before Friday!
I've also tutored 2 girls today and driven hubby home from putting the work car in at the smash repairers. He scratched his boss's car!! Luckily his boss isn't back at work for another couple of weeks....
The big problem is that we were taking our time getting our second car registered as we had the work car - what's the rush - can't fit us in until Friday, no problem, we don't need the car... only now we do! Going to be a juggle getting the girls to the dentist tomorrow...

June, what a rotten thing to happen, hope your camera is still in the bag.
Suzy, we are doing a similar thing with cars at the moment. Our 'Posh' car (Lexus) needs a small repair and needs testing so we can have it on the road, but that small repair will cost quite a bit of maoney. As we don't really need the car as Richard is working in London and travelling by train, we are putting getting the Lexus repaired.
The other day I thought we had a problem with the Volvo which would have left us without both our cars. Fortunately we have the kids car to fall back on if necessary.
Thinking about it we have far too many cars on the drive at present. Lexus, Jaguar, Volvo, Renault and Cougar. Only the last three are working.

I did have one good thing happen today. I found a place to get my two aluminium chairs sand blasted and powder coated. A bit expensive but will be a professional job and save me a lot of hard work and heart ache. The set is over 40 years old and was a Christmas present from my Grandmother to my mother so worth having them done properly. I will get the table done at a later date when the paint I put on yesterday starts to look a bit ragged.

Good evening all. Nice to talk to you again on Skype, Brenda.
As I told Brenda, Col's Xray results - no fractures. So, even though he's still sore we know we're only dealing with something muscular. He altered his schedule and is not working until Wednesday so hopefully may be less sore by then - he will have to be super careful not to make matters worse though (as I keep on telling him).

Oh June - I too got the shivers at the thought of someone being in your house, especially while you were both there. But you were lucky that the police caught them before they tried to use your cards. Hope you get your camera back.
Happened to my parents not long before we had to put Dad in care. We were always so pleased that neither of them saw or challenged the thieves (as I know they would have if they'd seen them) or the consequences could have been dire.
Also, June, I hope Sharon is feeling better now too.

June, great news about the coating.
Cyn, I'm glad your parents didn't challenge the thieves either. Glad to hear there are no broken bones, and very sensible of Colin to change his schedule to give himself a chance to heal.
Our car problems are small, only about $130 worth 'cause Don did some of the work himself.

Can you tell I've given up on ffuts for the night?
When I say small, the wheel could have fallen off the car, but it wasn't expensive to fix!
