Hi Broni,took Hubby to the airport which wasted half of it. He had my car all yesterday and on the way to the airport said'you will need petrol'. He generally fills it. I asked why he had not done that yesterday and thought he would have time thismorning , which he did not because the queues were long. Nothing on the tollways till almost back home with the orange light on all the way! Had 5 litres left in the tank!! Not how I like to get around.
Pleased you are slowly getting the work done on the boat. Are you feeling a lot better these days?

Not long ago, I told my daughter who is the same age the sad news. It hit her exactly the same way it hit me.

I found it tricky when my old email addy was accidentally revealed in group emails more than once. Then stupid me went and did exactly the same thing myself with others' addresses. I will continue to use Bcc, as I'm sure we all mean to do, but yeah, there's going to be slipups, so I decided to just change my address.

it has been a very hard one for some reason,
last year I was at his grave side in Darwin, and dont think it was this bad,
but I worked this one, not going to do that again,should be at the beach like I have done most other years, with his favourite music playing in my ears....

SUSAN, I put your new address in my book, under Sudoku friends. I did not have the old one to delete, so was not me that revealed it , whew!

At the moment it is pouring buckets here! We missed out on severe weather and tornadoes, luckily. When it is 66 degrees at 10 pm in December, you know a big system with possibility of severe weather is coming! cold front coming through, after this rain. Well, the northern states are getting snow from this, happy we are only getting buckets of rain! this should fill a few catch ponds for the farmers!

Julie and Gail sorry and sad to hear you have both had bad news today aswell.

LIZ, glad to know you have a plan for next year, a good way to celebrate your life together. I am sorry today was so rough for you, and hope you wake tomorrow to a new day and a lightness where the pain has been today.

MizT, I wasn't pointing the finger at anyone for accidentally revealing my old email address. It happened more than once, each time it was accidental, and each time I received an apology. Like I said, I once did exactly the same thing myself accidentally. We're all human, and I certainly don't hold any grudges against anyone for accidents. With my new address, I don't care if it's revealed at all.

SUZY, I am with LIZ, good news should be shared, it wold brighten up the day for everyone!

SUSAN, I was just joking about it, not serious at all. I have a strange sense of humor sometimes.

Dux (plural: duces) is Latin for leader (from the verb ducere, 'to lead') and for duke, and in Ancient Rome could refer to anyone who commanded troops, such as tribal leaders.

I imagine it has something to do with leader at school? Can you clarify for me Suzy? sorry I am so dense. I do not imagine she is at the head of any army hehehe.

It's kind of like getting first in your class but it's the whole school MizT.

Now I need to go and celebrate with hubby - Dana got dux when she was in Year 6 too.
