Good morning all! Warm today, 53F, and raining. I don't like rain in the winter but I'm glad the wind has stopped!

Finished the hat and scarf for the little girl. Found my xmas cards, but haven't tackled them yet. Did some decorating, but found that most of the lights for the tree were not working so hubby has to get more before we get any further with the tree. After researching ever possible suv out there, I'm now leaning toward a van. Going to look at the Town & Country today and hubby is checking an Entourage by his work. Went to the ortho and the glenoid capsule in my shoulder is torn so I have to go to another specialist to evaluate whether to have surgery. Picked up Ian from school, went shopping and found the item I've been searching everywhere for, went to the bank for d#1 so she could pay her school bill, lost my mitten in the parking lot at the docs but hubby went there after work and searched under cars and found it! Yeah for my favorite mitten!

The only emails I have on my computer are Vici and MizT. All of my email addresses are on my old computer. I don't care if my email address is revealed. I should create a new folder for Sudoku so that they will be easy to find and start putting them back in as I get them!

Stella.... I hope they can fix that shoulder. That has been really hurting you for quite some time. Enough is enough with the pain.

I don't care if my name is revealed with my email address. I'm the only "Heidi" in Magnolia, anyway. With 17 big dogs, there is no danger from burglars here.

Lizzy - what a joy it was to read all of your lyrics. I wonder if it was as therapeutical for you as it was for me?
Beautiful words and sentiments to remember Lenny by. Keeping a big bubble of hug around you right now.

VICI, when I started working, nursing caps were REQUIRED still! and that was not so many years ago! Also, we wore white uniforms, not the colorful scrubs of today! Anyone going into delivery or nursery wore scrubs, but they were all the same color, kind of showed where you worked. OR had green. Labor and delivery had blue, ICU units had cranberry, ect. No caps and scrubs make it so much harder to tell who is an RN, LPN or nursing assistant.

With caps, RN's had black bands, LPN's had green bands, assistants and other auxiliary workers did not have caps. I missed caps when they were done away with, heck I earned that cap with years of hard work!

Wow, MzT - that is so interesting. I know what you mean about earning the right to wear something and now any old worker can be mistaken for a skilled health care provider!
