It is getting cold here. It is supposed to get into the upper 40's overnight. That is cold for South Florida.

I see that it has been more than a few pages that I was gone. I have some reading to do.

Insurance company called me tonight. My car is all fixed up and I can pick it up tomorrow. I am so happy. I can return the rental and get back in my van.

Heidi, thank you for sharing your Santa Claus story. We had a somewhat similar occurrence that helped reinforce our belief. One year when we got up to go to church on Christmas morning, we saw alongside our house tracks from the runners of Santa's sleigh and reindeer footprints. Another year my younger sister saw Santa in his sleigh with reindeer come down over the top of the hill toward our house, which was the fourth house down from the top.

I won the 2 males I wanted. Two females are up for auction from another seller in 5 days. There are some young pairs up in just under 2 hours. I'm the high bidder there so far.

Bean, Glad you have finished with the squeeqin...I went through it when I got back from SF and just got my results back and all is clear.
The congestion is better, but am now nursing a sore back...lifted a ton of papers for recycling day....just didn't lift correctly...
I have started putting outside decorations together....so I may go all the way..I have lugged 8 boxes in the house full of decorations, but find that I will need to buy some new lights for outside....thanks all for the encouragement...Suzy...you were right...its just what I needed to do!

The Santa stories remind me of how my Father and his brothers used to go up on our roof and make sounds like Santa's early Christmas morning....ho ho hoing and ringing bells...I didn't know just how worrying this was for my Mom, since she knew it came after a night celebrating elbow bending...otherwise known as drinking as they put stuff together....but it was good fun...Santa was and continues to be the very best....

Our internet has been down most of the day - very rare for us...so I haven't been able to catch up until now.
Thanks to all who have been wishing me well and asking about my ulcer. Had 2 full meals today with no pain. Looks like it was just a flare-up - thank goodness!

Julie, the system of certificates and stuff here is Certificate I, II, III then IV, Diploma, Bachelors, Masters etc... Hubby is getting a diploma. He jokes that when he first got to Australia he applied for a job as the village idiot but didn't have a Cert IV so didn't get the job.
