Rolanda some of the wording in the songs are familiar but dont know the tune

everybody....
It really is a good morning for me...it is 10am and I am awake...hope I stay that way....this sleeping sickness has whiskers on it!!!
Vici...yes, that is my nephew Adam [in the black T shirt]...he tells me he has lost a lot of weight since then.
Stella...the amount of traveling you do makes me feel weak at the knees...I am so over such long trips!! Your niece is very lucky to have an aunt like you..
Suzy..what do you use to stiffen them and is it permanent? [what happens if, heavens forbid, I washed them...]
Still reading...up to page 93...nearly caught
up..puff..puff..

I have a couple of friends and neighbours that I buy for...tokens of affection more than a big 'present' or such...the only things I really want in life can't be bought in shops...for Christmas day all I want is love and laughter...I do tend to carry around big boxes of Lindt balls...they go down a treat wherever I go. Thought I would like to make everyone shortbread this year but I can't see it happening at the moment...the days are zooming by so fast...

CynB...have been waiting for your opinion on Australia...to my surprise I enjoyed it as well!
The length of it put me off before I got there...
I knew that Hugh would keep me glued to the seat...swings and roundabouts..LOL...he was my reward...
The ending sucked me right in...I could hardly watch [well the riveting scene b4 the end...you know the one I mean]...I may even had screamed...oh boy...I could hardly watch. I think that young lad has a big future in front of him. The scenery displayed a part of our country that those who live on the coastal fringes [most of us!!] forget exists...having grown up on the edge of a harsh desert plain it struck a few chords...

Bean - yes the length of the movie put me off also but I found that the story moved fast enough that I didn't notice really. Yes, that ending was a bit tense. I heard Baz had to change it so I think we can work out what the alternate ending was. I put a review on the Flicks page if you want to add to it.

Bean... are you sure that you aren't coming down with Mono??? In the earlier stages, I was like you. Called it the sleeping sickness, too. If it is, I really hope it's a mild case.
I've fed the critters. First thing in the morning, though, I will have to put hay rolls out for the cows, bull, and heifers. They sure eat a lot.

I will NOT think about weight loss until after the Holiday season. I need to lose quite a bit, but there's no point until the Mono leaves the system.

Got a movie set up on the DVD player, a cup of coffee, some chocolate biscuits, SA by my side... will sew ends into my decorations and then stiffen them (I don't use a washable stiffening!) so I am a little organised...

Crocheted snow flakes, wreaths, bells, hearts, and angels. At least that's what I found in the left over box from last year. I had my surgery last year so sat around a lot and crocheted.

And boy do I wish I was the Organised One!!!

CynB and Beanie - thanks for the recommendation of the movie - will for sure see it at the theater now...looks like it would be best on the big screen.
Mike put up our house lights today!!! In the 14 years we have been together, I have ALWAYS done all the C decorating. He does the cooking (not baking, tho)
I was vascillating about putting up lights and he volunteered to do it! That just feels like the best C present ever!
Bean - for me, too, the stuff I cherish most can't be bought in stores!

Hey Vici, sounds like a good present to me! Hubby has taken the week before Xmas off work so we might get some lights up this year too.

Heidi, not so very impressive. If I could write my own patterns, now that would be impressive!

I hope I remember what I want to say to everyone:
Suzy, the usually spelling is menorah but I have seen it spelled the way you did before.
Vici, love the chanukah smilies. I may steal them someday.
Heidi, you seem to forget what my name is . Why would I take your name off the list?????
To everyone who like the menorah avatar, I can't take credit. MizTricia made them for me and I think she did a wonderful job.
