Actually,
I need to go feed the dogs, then go back to bed. For some bizarre reason, I'm still tired.

Back again. At first I had to abandon the site because I was covered in glue, then hubby came home and took over the computer so he could find a file. Huh! Even when he's working he's disrupting my computer time!
Heidi, you are right, but I just don't feel terribly impressive...

Tami, thank you for correcting my spelling. It does look more familiar written your way!
Bean, chocolates sounds like a good idea for those I haven't bought for yet! Well, for some of them anyway. I want to get a nice candle for the singing teacher, a coffee gift certificate for the friend who brings me coffee every Wednesday, and something nice for the cousin (?) we are staying with on Saturday night. Other than that I'm about 20 short....

I think it's more fun NOT getting the TOPP, than trying to get it. I have to pay a lot of attention to the numbers.

I had to switch my avatar for a few days. Monday is December 8, the day John Lennon died. I am a major Beatles fan and have to honor.

I have lots left on my list as the ornaments took longer than expected, but all of it will take longer than the time I have left before the afternoon rush starts... what to do, what to do?

I have only just started my list! It has been the first day I have felt like it.
Almost halfway through, but then, I only buy for me and mine, the immediate tribe.
I know what I want for Chrithmas...a webcam with an inbuilt mic!

I thought I didn't buy for many people Gail, but that's only because I'm usually more organised. I couldn't believe it when I saw my list. At least teachers are on it for the last time...

I was able to cut down my shopping list. My family started drawing names last year so instead of buying for everyone (6 adults) now you only buy 1 gift. We tried stopping altogether but everyone still likes opening the presents so this was a good compromise. My mom picked me again this year so I will get exactly what I want. I buy, I wrap, she pays. Works for me.

I never did get into that sort of thing Suzy. With four kids at school, and hardly two pennies to rub together, I could not afford any extras.
Nowadays, there's us, the four kids and two of them have partners!

Hello folks! I seem to be here at the same time as someone I know, for a change. Hi Gail! :)
All this Christmas talk is worrying - I've only got a few things so far. My middle daughter has finished - said she wasn't going into the shops after Dec 1 ... amazingly organised young lady. (She scares me!!)
This year we have a new baby to buy for (nephew's son) Everyone is getting excited -or clucky? Now that's a scary thought! ;)

Every where I've been Gail it felt compulsory to give teachers gifts! Not the teachers (they actually have a problem with deciding what to do with all the stuff they get), the parents and kids... I give small things, sometimes home made (crafty) but I still have to pick them out.

Hi Judy! I think that every year but never manage to achieve it...
I think Monday will be a big shopping day for me. Get all the extra people out of the way. I've got a couple of places in mind that will have interesting things at reasonable prices...

I just asked my son whether his partner would like a tool kit full of pink tools...too cute!
Thinking about it for my two oldest gorillas but hubby says if we do, we should duck when the hammer goes flying our way!

The youngest has put in a request for a digital camera!
Unfortunately, they are a little out of the budget for Chrissy. Some years ago I changed the pressie habits of our family. I spend more on each child for their birthdays rather than at Christmas. I got a bit miffed when the youngest was pre-school and started reading out her 'list'! Was longer than the telephone book!
