Merry Christmas, Vici! Thanks for the 'card' - I especially like the pictures, because we rescued two more little kittens last week... AND, since my adult sons are living in LA and for the first time won't be home for Christmas... I sent them a Charlie Brown Christmas tree! They loved it, and so did their friends. It has taken me three or four short sessions to get back to computer today to thanks every one who left a message on my page yesterday 13th wishing me a happy birthday. So also for taking the time to visit my page with good wishes.

Hi Vici. Glad you liked the pictures. It was a fantastic trip. We would have liked to have seen more of Michigan but what we did see was great. Our stay on Mackinac Island was extremely enjoyable. Hope you get a chance to get there sometime.

Thanks for the birthday greetings. Just wish I had been at home to read them as they came in. Being in hospital was not the way I wanted to spend the morning but it was great having all the family for a BBQ for my special start to the next decade.

Hi Vici! Thanks for your book suggestion. I had never heard of that one, but it sounds interesting. I googled that HH Holmes guy cause I didn't know about him either! Was horrified to see that he was a grad of the U. of Mich med school Did you ever get an answer from Bissell on the final vote count? I was suspicious of that just being a big sales promotion & a way to drum up customers. Who would ever know if they even bothered to tally votes accurately??

so much for your birthday greetings, I do still pop in & catch up from time to time, but spent a lot of time away from home last year & hope to do the same this year after all our roads have been repaired after the floods & cyclones, won't be much longer as they are a No. 1 priority.
