Hello Vici - and a Happy New Year to you!
The family left yesterday about one o'clock but had problems with a camper trailer they had bought while here. They arrived in Perth about ten o'clock last night. It's usually about a four hour trip. They still have approx. a 16 hour trip to get home but will be slower because they are towing the trailer.

Thanks Vici for birthday wishes yesterday. Had a relaxing day & then an easy dinner of chicken & salads with family. We have 3 kittens (6weeks old) here at present & are hoping to find new homes for them shortly. The mother came into household 12 months ago herself as a young kitten & the son who brought her here should have had her desexed, but of course didn't. My husband & I have always disallowed pets in the family, as having had 8 children ourselves didn't want another mouth to feed. The son has kept mum (Marbles) in his room until kittens arrived & has taken care of all her needs, however now some of that responsibility has fallen on me & I'm not happy!

Thank you for the birthday wishes. It has been a lovely day. Out to lunch with my family in Sydney and a phone call from the rest of my family in Melbourne.
The special messages from all my friends on Sudoku are always a highlight of my day.

Happy St. Paddy's Day, Vici. I'm sure you must be Irish when I see your avatar. Really good one! I'm not Irish but we celebrate anyway [everyone's Irish on St Paddy's Day no?]There will be a big parade in Montreal on Sun. The temp is supposed to be 20C and sun to boot. Last year we needed winter jackets and snowboots as it was normal.This year summer is here. Go figure.I don't like it though. Not normal and I wonder how summer will be after the Winter? we had.Enjoy your St.Paddy' celebrations.

Hi Vici. Thanks very much for all your comments on my photos, I really appreciate them. I'm always on hours after you've made them!! I'll more than likely be on site in the morning (Thursday Aussie time) & possibly Friday, but then I'll be Up-the-River till sometime on Monday so probably won't be back till on Sudoku till Tuesday! I am still really sad that I was unable to connect with you when you were her in 2009!!
