Agree with your comments re naivety of water tower renovators! Personally I don't know why they didn't have a wonderful indoor pool - imagine swimming up there and looking down through a port cut in the wall at the countryside. I suppose they didn't want to obscure the rustic charm of the exterior!
Must admit my Irish heritage comes to the fore with most things - good ol' Murphy. Think of a number and double it - seems to work with quoting, estimations of how long it will take etc. etc. [how long it will take me to get ready, weed the garden, vacuum the house.....quadruple for that one! My vac is broken and I'm not pushing my husband to fix it. Good to have a legitimate excuse for a dirty house!!]

Have to say though, ive done sudoku about 5/6 times now (after getting it recomended from a friend) and am officially addicted! Cant wait till I really get into it and give a go of the hard or tough sudoku's :)

Hi there, Gail, and hope you had a good weekend. I survived the first round of going through Mom's things, packing and pitching; went through a box of photos last night as well. Next Saturday, we'll be back at it again. Not sure if the possessions are being divided up fairly ... it's one of those "if people can't agree, then the item must be sold" things. I was fairly lenient with what my siblings wanted, but not sure if I'll be quite so accommodating next week if things continue as they are. You're right--not a nice thing to do, but it helps to know you're in my corner! Wishing you and yours a terrific week full of laughter and love.

Gail, I'm traveling around the world dropping off good wishes and fond hellos to all of you folks who have brought so many smiles to my face. I haven't been able to spend much time on site, especially the SA pages and miss chatting with you all. Things are well here and hope your life has slowed down a bit and you are able to relax. Looking forward to the time when I can spend more time again..but it will be awhile yet.

G'day Gail, I wasn't at all surprised to see your message about Liz. It's often crossed my mind when I read the messages that you're a very caring thoughtful person so I had a feeling you'd be in touch. Liz is getting along slowly but well. She is just pacing herself and taking it a day at a time. All the extra noise is sometimes hard to take and by the end of the day she is ready to turn it off and have some peace. Liz has always been a quietly determined young lady and I know she will soon have this whole thing all worked out. In the meantime she has to go to Melbourne every week for 6-8 weeks for fine-tuning and training, so there's still a way to go.
As for David, all good there too. He loves his new job which is taking live Coral Trout up to Cairns for the Asian Export market. Brand new truck, good money, good company to work for and spectacular scenery every day. Lost his wallet on Monday and it was found in Cairns by a nice honest bloke who contacted David, so all-in-all things in his life have taken a dramatic upward turn. I feel especially happy for him as things haven't been easy for him.

Gail - thanks for the note! I accidentally figured out that they removed some of the site blocks at work, and I can access this site at school. So I can sneak in sometimes instead of grading papers!
If you see too much of me you might ask if my papers are getting graded. haha

Those two messages appeared alright, must have just been a glitch in the system.
