Hi Heidi! Thanks for the get well wishes, and I won't even get cross 'cause you laughed - I was STUPID!! (And don't I know it!) Ah well, the pain is now less than the inconvenience - I can't drive! Loss of freedom is a terrible thing, and I have three more weeks of being dependent. Unfortunately the weather has turned really hot, and the cast is starting to ITCH! As they say in the classics - them's the breaks! (humour!)

Hi Heidi! A day or so ago you asked about a butterfly on the kids easy page. I took that pic at a butterfly exhibit here in Ohio. It is a Rose Swallowtail from Asia. I was captivated by the contrast of black and brilliant red.

I just stopped by to say Hi, and saw Judy's post.
I went to SA and read your terribly sad news. What an awful way to start the New Year. I am so sorry you've lost your wonderful dogs. I hope knowing you gave them a good home and so much love will ease your heartbreak. I have said before, and truly believe, we will all see our beloved pets again.

Hope you had a great Christmas and New Year.
Just though I 'd tell you I had a filly born on New Years day which is grand daughter of Artsplace. She is by Art Major who is one the leading sires in both USA and Australia.
Being born on 1/1/10, she is a late foal by our standard , the season starting on Ist September. If however she goes to USA she will have an advantage over local foals for although your season starts on 1/1 but most foals don't seem to be foaled until March/April.

Heidi, neat story. I always like Baxter Black. My life is changing...I may come close to your life. The new man in my life is a farmer in Kansas. He raises Angus cattle. I spent a week on the farm after Christmas..I think I'm hooked!

Heidi - A few years after my sister died at age 3 (I was 5), I asked why God took Sharon from us (She had suffered from Cancer all her life). Mom responded by giving me a book entitled "Angel Unaware" by Dale Evans. Roy & Dale were deeply giving & caring people. I'm sure there is someone in Hollywood today that is - just don't know who.

Heidi - have a wonderful birthday. I hope you get pampered and looked after but I guess someone's got to keep Surreal Farm and all the animals therein going.
