Heidi, thank you so much for celebrating my birthday with me last week, I had so much fun reading all the posts. You sing so beautifully!
The family went out to dinner that night, then the next day we had yet another party for my youngest daughter's 16th. I then had the pleasure of a lunch on Sunday with some of our Sudoku family who spoiled me wonderfully.
It doesn't get much better than that!

I came by to leave a get well message and saw the photo of your poor swollen face. WOW! You must have been in agony! I am so sorry, and hope the antibiotics (and, I hope pain meds) have at least alleviated the pain somewhat. I think if I were you, I'd actually be looking forward to the surgery. It can't be any worse than what you've already been through!

You poor thing! I can't think of any advantages of having to deal with an absess, Heidi, so you might as well enjoy the painkillers...
Hope everything goes well with your surgery and you have a quick and uneventful recovery.

I am not looking for sympathy and in view of some people's troubles mine are minor but being the animal lover you are, I knew you would understand. Sunday night one of my horse broke down while racing and subsequent xrays have been about as bad as could be. He had a shattered rear near side fetlock and I had to have him euthanised yesterday. When you have to make this decision about a young animal it really is draining. I've only owned him for about 3 months and I haven't gathered enough courage to let his previous owner who also bred him, know.

Heidi, Thank you for the Halloween card. It had a neat ending. Halloween is my favorite holiday, love decorating the house and dressing up. Between the decorations and music I have some who are scared to come up to get candy.
