Think I might just think about going to bed. I know it will be a long day tomorrow.
Gail , my cupboards are full! It is the extra boxes that I have to move around to give people room. There are still messes about, just hope there are enough people about so they are not so obvious. I some times wish I was more systematic in getting jobs done!
I must admit I have been able to get Ken to do some things for me that I have wanted done for ages!
Nite all and Happy Easter for those who will not be on site tomorrow.

Good Mean Sudokuland!

I am so happy that Al has a spare computer. that is how I got to you today. My computer will not sign on, silly thing. It has gone on strike. So till my favorite computer geek can get this tower swaped with mine, at my desk, my keyboard, my monitor, I will not be on long at a time. Not sure when he will have time to do the swap, and then take my computer in for servicing. I shall limp along here till he does.

Another lovely day in the neighborhood is forecast for today. Spring has returned. We shall celebrate by making a trip for groceries, the long rarely done trip.

Mamacets, I will be thinking of you as you celebrate another first. You do know how to celebrate. I admire you the courage it takes to get through these and in such creative and sweet, romantic ways. Yes, Sully will look down and smile.

Ways to celebrate the anniversary of his passing. Plant a tree or a flower or a bush, or add something to your life , your home, in memory of him.

Have a small memorial ceremony with family and light a candle, say a prayer, read a poem, play a song or something done at his funeral, and then toast his memory. Do something to mark the day, in a bitter sweet kind of way.

Visit his grave with his favorite music, and a bottle o good wine, pour a bit for him.

Do something that you 2 wanted to do together but never had a chance.

There are as many ways to celebrate, remember, as there are people remembering. I am sure you will come up with something very appropriate, something meaningful for you.

Lots of other stuff I wanted to comment upon, but CRAFT and an uncomfortable chair have taken all thoughts from my brain. I hope to get back here again from my computer desk soon!

Hugs to all, have a safe and fun trip for those traveling.

Good morning all! Getting ready to go pick up the girls. I plan on leaving at 9:30am and will get back hopefully by 7pm. Brendan is taking the train from NJ to NYC. Then a subway to Grand Central Station and then a train up to Poughkeepsie.(about 2 hours from here) Then either his friend will drive him up or Jerry will go get him after work(about 75 miles). Ian will stay by himself and probably get into trouble!

We should leave around 9.30am. I'm hoping that will be okay as I think the worst of the traffic will be heading south and we'll be going north. That should get us there after 11.30 but before 1pm - I have the wide window there because it is so long since I've driven to that part of Sydney I can't remember how long it will take!

Enjoy your Easter everyone whether you choose to mark the religious significence of it, spend time with family and friends or just veg out and relax.
Quiet start to Easter here today and tomorrow - then it starts in earnest on Sunday and continues into Monday. Kids and grandies here Sunday lunchtime; dinner and games at my sister's place Sunday night, my brother will be there as well; Col & I have to leave there by 11pm to collect some dear friends and take them to the airport for their flight to Ethiopia to collect their adopted 10 month-old son (sooo exciting); then Monday lunchtime, sister, brother and I, our spouses and Aunty Vi taking lunch up to Mum's nursing home and having lunch with her. Busy few days.

I was watching some clips of the new Red Dwarf. Danny John Jules (Cat) hasn't aged a day. Of course, you can't tell with Robert Llewellyn (Kryten). Craig Charles (Lister) looks a little older. But Chris Barrie (Rimmer) has aged. Less hair, and a puffy face.

Heidi - do you have a link to those clips?? I'd love to see them. It was mainly Chris Barrie I was thinking of when I said they would have aged. I know what Craig Charles looks like because of Coronation Street.
Since we started talking about them yesterday, I can't shake the image of Cat marking his territory - 'That's mine, that's mine, that's mine, mine, mine...' at everything he passes.

And once you get the picture in your head of Cat marking his territory, it's hard to get rid of it. I love his yowl, too. And how about food dispenser? Fish. Fish. Fish. Fish. Fish. Fish. Food escape!!!!

Thank you, Heidi. Looked through a lot of stuff there. Looks good. Best thing is that they go to the 'Rovers' - the pub in Coronation Street. Should be a hoot. I see what you mean about Rimmer but he doesn't look too bad after 10 years. Just can't wait until it hits Oz.
