Just caught up on the reading and don't remember what I want to say.
Suzy, I also have curly hair but it is long right now. It doesn't show the curl as much. I am glad you started your paper. It is about time.
Enjoyed all the stories about the statues.
Heidi, glad the tour went well.

Okay hitting a brick wall here. Going to have to do some searching through past work for ideas. Soooooo, why not catch up in here first???

But you've all been very very quiet. Sigh.

Heidi, congrats - hope you have a big cage!

Oh,how exciting Heidi...wonder what colour the babies will be.My brother had a budgie that they thought was a boy until she started laying eggs. She used to be very friendly until then, boy did she become a biter, you couldn't put your hand in the cage without being bitten after that. She must have needed a mate.

Half of the babies should be salmon headed blues and half should be yellow headed normals.

Hello all - I have a home invasion here. Was supposed to only pick up Hayley and Madeline but Emily was so upset to be left behind, her soft-hearted (and headed) Nanny said she could come too. Can you hear the noise? I thought little girls, or at least 7,8 & 9yos might be quieter.
NO!!
Later this afternoon - Pink Panther 2 at the movies, then dinner out. Lovely!

Hi everyone.
Happy Birthday to Toy Elephant! Have a great day. :)
True confession now - think I've developed a serious addiction here! I can't stop watching crazy things on YouTube! Must - get - some - work - done.....! I keep thinking "just one more, then I'll stop" and "I can give it up any time I want.." But there are so many silly people, talented people, funny people, and they're all right here - it amazes me!
Here's one that I found (you may know it already) - I think this kid is absolutely amazing:

Judy, how do you think all the housework does not get done. We all get addicted to something on the computer!
Cyn,hard work but the grand kids are fun (and expensive!)
Yesterday at the show they were selling Lindt Chocolate blocks for almost 1/3 of the original price. Lindt is my absolute favourite and I was very good and did not buy any!!!!
Heidi, hope you have success breading the finches. Also that Hubby gives a hand with his rellies.

Suzy, thanks for the Banana bread recipe. the one I used was similar but used milk instead of orange juice.
Glad you are working on your paper. How nice it will be to have it finished and get some work teaching.
Rolanda,congrats on the family engagement.
I can appreciate the excitement of going to China. We loved it but I did have problems with the pollution, especially on the Yangzi River. The food in the hotels is a Westernised version of Asian food. Much better if you can eat where there are a lot of locals eating. Having a connection will make it so much more interesting.

Hi June - Yes Lindt chocolate takes a lot of beating!
Wow, going to China sounds exciting - we haven't visited any Asian countries yet - I guess I prefer to have at least some idea of the language! Rob is quite interested in doing a trip to the Galapagos Islands, but apparently you need to be pretty fit. That will take some time, especially as I've just done my ankle again. :( But I bet they don't have many pollution problems there!

Broni, why don't you use a PDF format so you can save documents to your hard drive rather than print them out. Pleased to hear you had a wonderful time on the boat.
Suzy pleased to hear that you are getting on with your paper.
Cyn hope you enjoy your day with grandies.
Rolanda what a wonderful trip you have planned, just a pity Peter cannot go too.
Heidi, how wonderful that you finches have started breeding so soon after you have got them.
June what willpower you have... not buying Lindt chocolate when it is so cheap.

Evenin' all!
I thought I was doing really well, but when I typed it up I only had 2600 words, need 4500 in the end. Sigh. Sob. Busy day tomorrow....

I'm jealous of your access to cheap chocolate June. I definitely would not have been strong! We don't get good after easter, christmas, anything sales. We figure it's the tourist trade spoiling it for us.

Good Mean Sudokuland!
Another cool morning, but sunny and should be warmer today.
Heidi, glad your finches are happy and breeding. Good luck with your house guests, how long will they stay?
HI Brenda, hope you remember what you wanted to say.
Broni, paper and pencil are still available here for such emergencies, go copy the recipe by hand hehehe Perhaps I should try the banana bread, have ripening bananas on hand.
CynB Enjoy the grandies, they soon grow to old to spend the night with Grand ma.
Rolanda, have you started sewing on your shorts for China yet?

The kids all brought their laundry home for Easter weekend, so I didn't get any of mine done. Need to throw in a load and get some brekkie.
Jerry forgot his blackberry for work. I'm afraid the thing is going to drive me nuts with all of the buzzing! Yikes! Maybe I'll bury it in the laundry, hehe.

We'll be making another long trip to my sister's in a week and a half for baby Liam's baptism and Arianna's First Communion. Both of my sis's grandchildren. She's combining the party's and having them at her house.
