a friend just sent this to me, and I am giggling still, and asking, how did they do that? it is worth a visit.

article that goes with the video is

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/5024251/Welsh-sheep-video-is-internet-sensation.html

Over 1,000,000 people have visited the website in the first 4 days it was online.

We need to be sure RayRay sees this one too

MizT That's either one of the funniest things I've ever seen, or ...... no, it's one of the funniest things I've ever seen. I dare anyone to say farm life is dull.

MizTricia - MwaH? What kind of mind comes up with something like that! I'm still giggling ... Think I'll have to watch it again (when I have the strength!)

Bison chili, sounds yummy and I have read it is healthy also.

A nearby Hispanic rancher who raises cattle, horses and now Bison, tried to take one of his to be slaughtered for his own food. Noone will slaughter it, so I heard. He just assumed it would be no problem to get it processed.

I jokingly told Al he should go over and give him some pointers in doing a barn processing, with a Sawsall reciprocating saw. Al and a couple of others did just that, back when we lived on the farm. Silly cow managed to commit break it's own neck while they were trying to get it's head from tangled in the sides of the cattle trailer.

I had a buffalo burger when I was in Colorado two years ago. It was very tasty. I would definitely try some of that chili, Heidi.

Good night all. I am tired after a busy day and I am going to tuck myself in and watch tv for a few. I like falling asleep with the tv on. My hubby shuts it when he comes upstairs.

I certainly hope not Heidi! At least our consciences are clear!
How is Lucky to day...getting along with the rest of the pack.
Glad to hear that Gil is smitten.
I am looking forward to watching the video clip Mizt - when we are back up to speed...won't run on dial up!

Lucky is really fitting in nicely. He's super smart, too. All my dogs get fed in their own crates, and Lucky has already learned which is his, and that he has to get inside to eat.

Woo! Went outside to look at the garden - pulled up weeds around some bushes (because Rob threw a hissy fit about trying to mow around them yesterday!), then started chopping up a pile of tree prunings. I was cold for a while, but nice and warmn now - I have blisters on my fingers, but I feel very virtuous. ;)

Good one Judy.
It was pretty dark by the time I finished pruning last night...had the light on so I could see what I was doing...boy...have I given Graham Thomas and my banksia rose something to think about...they were making it very difficult to get up the garden path..which was a problem with Graham because he is VERY thorny. Will get Lachie to help me stake if up again later...he regularly reaches the gutter line each season...
This morning when I went out I was quite shocked at what I had done!!! I think I will fill the bed with bulbs seeing as the only time you can see it is at the start of spring before things start growing [and after I have pruned]

We are a virtuous pair, Bean! I always feel good after I've done something that will STAY done (as opposed to housework, which will need doing again in half an hour!) Last weekend we buried our first haul of "bokashi" compost - apparently by next week it should be ready for us to plant something into it!

Evening all! Great jobs Bean and Judy, and since you're soooo good at it.... I will supply noice coffee and cake!

Warning - family anecdote
Today the kids were late home from school. I got a text from a foreign mobile and called it back. Some idiot kid had thrown yoghurt out of the bus window and it had landed on a following car. The lunatic driving the following car then drove in front of the bus to prevent it from driving off. He called the police. They took 40 minutes to arrive, actually arrived just after I did. This man assaulted children who tried to leave (they left anyway) and took photos of the children!!!! And you know what the police did when they arrived - tried to find out who threw the yoghurt.... I called the police station and said I wanted assurances that any photos of children would be taken away from this man. He was out of control - who knows what he would do if he could use the photos to identify children who were on the bus!

Suzy, how annoying. All he had to do was take the number of the bus, then report it to the police who could soon find out what schools were on that bus and then they could contact the schools.
But the yoghurt could have caused an accident if it had obscured the drivers view and I can understand he being very upset!

Back to bowls tomorrow. Would like to have the day at home!

Sounds like a wonderful day you had June.
I've just caught up on reading and now have got to go and do ffuts.
My gardener is coming for the first time this year so will have to talk with him to sort out what we want doing this year.
Suzy I would have ben angry with the driver too, but angry at the stupidity of the child who threw the yoghurt too. Some kids must learn of consequences of actions, and that though they think it was funny, that it was dangerous.

Hi Broni, how is your jaw healing?
Have you finished doing your boat up yet, I know you have been out on her sailing but didn't know if she was finished being painted. Are you still intending to sell her?

Good morning my favorite SA people! Hope everyone had a lovely weekend!

Bryana and I are off this morning to go shopping, out to lunch and a movie. She only has 2 days left of her Spring break. I have a very bad headache that I hope will disappear by the time we're ready to go. She wanted to practice driving, but she's afraid to drive the van since it's so big. She practiced after dinner last night with hubby in the car.

Ian is still sick but not as bad, so he's at school. He had to build a balloon powered car for science. He tested it while he was home sick and it didn't go the distance, 5ft. He ended up building 3 more cars until he found one that would move that far. Good thing he was home sick or he would have never realized the first one didn't work.

Good Mean Sudokuland!

Glad you liked the video. I cannot believe it only took 2 days of filming. wonder how much practice before that?

The cat and I competed for bed space and even for my blanket, most all night. Perhaps I can put her outside and go back to bed.

Suzy, I know you are concerned about someone who so easily lost his cool having photos of the children. I hope the police can take photos from him. Hope they find the thrower of yogurt also. I am glad it did not cause an auto accident.

Broni, safe and well here, still on the green side of the dirt! How goes it with you?

Brenda, good luck with the gardener today, hope you can get an idea on what the garden needs.

Heidi, Happy for you and Lucky, that he is fitting in nicely. I have meant to ask, you feed them in their crates to prevent snarls and snips fighting for food? Is Lucky doing well with potty training?

Suzy, that's terrible the driver did that. He should have taken down the number of the bus and reported it to the school. I can understand how mad he was though. He probably just got his car washed, or maybe had this happen to him before, or the kids were gesturing to him(had that happen many times). But the police should definitely confiscate the photos from him. How does taking photos of the kids identify who did it? That's impossible. He also should be given a ticket for stopping a bus. That's a serious offense here.

The snow is almost gone here. The sun has been doing its job since we're back to the cold, 19F. Now we can see all of the branches that had fallen during the ice storms in December. The yard is covered. It will take a while to clear it all away!
