Hi everyone! Hope you're all well today. The sun is shining, but it's still quite cool out - looks like a nice day. We have just come back from our first session at the gym - yes, we've signed our lives away! On the plus side - it's just across the road from us. And on the negative - I think we're going to be SORE tomorrow! We both need to lose weight so we will be beautiful for Rachel's wedding. Well, thinner, anyway! ;)

Maine lobsters are frequently called "bugs" as well (at least in the trade).

Good morning lovely SA8 people -
Wow, what a surprise, Ian called in here (and Jeb posted on Easy).
Viv - I've been to one of those candle parties - lovely candles - shocking prices.
Bugs/lobsters - whether Balmain, Moreton bay or Maine - are the best seafood. Chilli MB Bugs - yummmm!
Lots more to say - CRAFTS got me.
My Aunty Vi is 90 tomorrow - off to her big party this afternoon - 90 guests expected. My Mum (her sister) is not able to go unfortunately.
Another Aunt, my Dad's sister, is 90 on Monday.
Have a nice weekend everone - I won't get back here today.

Tricia, I don't care about bottom of page, I am just trying to have no TOPP's on SA8. I would have been back sooner but was watching a movie with the kids. Going to bed soon. Will be back tomorrow.

Afternoon all!
We should still be at baseball watching the other grades but decided to Ebob home. She turned her ankle in the first innnings! Then she pitched. Ended up in the outfield and turned it again... We don't know the final score but they didn't win (isn't that nicer than saying 'lost'?) She now has it elevated to get the swelling down (not too bad) so she can bowl at the junior baseball presentation tomorrow - yes they are going bowling for their presentation! That makes 3 times in one week for Ebob...

Hello, Everyone! It's about 11:30 p.m. and I finally made it here. We met with our tax guy today, and didn't get too bad of a headache.
Now we're back to work on a family history of hubby's side going back about 5 generations (to the best of our ability), which is better than the 2 or 3 generations known previously. Seems there's always something left undone but needing to be done.
Good Night, Everyone! I'm hoping I might get here sooner tomorrow. Stay healthy and happy, Everyone!

Julie you are looking rather flash.
So glad that Gail made that suggestion Suzy...saved me from making it. I hope you remember to do a small test area first...an allergic reaction would really add insult to injury!
We are finally back up to speed and now all I have to battle with to get here are the frequent drop outs of our connection.

MizT, was it you who had a problem with the taste of baking soda/powder? I just read an article that might explain that, though it might be the wrong way around...

SUSY, thanks for the article, that explains a lot. It was me and Heidi both that have this problem. Sounds like it is the bicarb of soda that gives me that taste, and I am just more sensitive to it than some people.
we are on storm watch here. nothing severe now, but more rain. I really need to go to bed.
later, hugs.

So much for my painting.
My daughters rang up and suggested I pick up Sharon and Laura and we all go to the Camden show (Country Fair for the Topsiders). Is was about 1 1/2 hours drive from here but we all had a great day, especially Laura. She got to hold chickens, ducklings, mice, guinea pigs, rabbits and pat Alpacas, sheep, calves, goats etc etc. Also a few rides etc. She decided she would ride a horse in the show one day. I think she will sleep well tonight.

I'd swap painting for a show anyday June! We didn't get to see much of ours this year as Ally wasn't really up to much, but we did get to see some of it after she sang. Riding a horse in the show though? Hmmmm, I've never heard of a little girls wanting a horse before..hehe

Wow, it's quiet here tonight! Just finished watching a double helping of Lost (I love that show!) We're both a bit achy after all our exercise - hate to think how we'll feel in the morning. We had homemade pizza for tea - used pita bread for the bases, and it worked pretty well; put on lots of healthy veg, and the usual ham and cheese. It always seems too salty for me, but it was very nice.
Yesterday Adam came over for dinner - he had a great time in South Australia, though he says they didn't make any money (of course!) He was really happy with the way things went, met people from all over the world, made lots of friends and "contacts". Haven't seen him look so happy for a long time. :)

Good Morning Sudokuland! I survived another storm , only the tail end of rain at the moment. I hope this is the last one for a long while. Al stayed up longer than I monitoring the situation. He did a good job of taking care of me. I shall write more when I am fully awake and meds wear off.

Good morning. It is a weekend so I can actually stop in at this hour. It is a short week at school. There are 5 days but on wednesday about half the school is going to the Dade County youth fair. It is a giant carnival and country fair in one. I am one of the chaperones which means I get to play games too. Friday is the last day of school and we have a week off for spring break. One of my best friends is flying in on Thursday from Utah. She will alternate between my house and her aunt's house. It is going to be fun. I will be introducing her to all my SA friends and trying to get her involved.

Head is still sore, but not as bad as yesterday. My body is still achy too. I'm thinking this was some sort of bug, 'cause IH is going through the same thing.
