It seems that SA7 is getting old and slow. It is time for a new page. Welcome to SA8.

Okay, another turning point in my day, what do I do next? I've tutored in biology (not my strong suit, actually were talking about an approach to multiple choice questions), and I've helped Ally work out how to extract the answers to an assignment from 8 pages of notes downloaded from the computer. That's quite a daunting task the first time you do it. Now I still have most of my list left to do... I know, I'll do what Gail said, I'll go write those things on my list so I can cross them off!

AFter I take some of those jelly beans. Yum!

Good morning all. Bright but still cool here.
Rolanda we go away on the 25 th for 7 days. Not taking the caravan this time but renting a place in the country up north not too far from where I was born. I have wanted to go back up north for a visit for a while to see old friends and relatives. Last time I was up there was for my mum's funeral 3 years ago.

I have just checked to see when I had my last avatar approved. I took the photo on the 18th so would have had it approved within the last 2 weeks

Pleased to hear that you are feeling a bit better Bean.
Rolanda how is your mum enjoying herself in Holland?
Gail my husband is worth his weight in chocolate too, but the value has gone down as he has lost 28lb in weight. I had to take him out to buy some new trousers and jeans as he could take his old ones off without unfastening them.

Brenda, I hope I will be in the same boat as your hubby in a few weeks. I have started walking again (please note Rena!), the same route I was using two years ago when I lost all the weight before my Mum's 80th. I got down the the lowest weight I have ever been as an adult...it all went back on! I just need a new mantra, back then the impetus was to lose the weight before the reunion for the birthday, so I was saying "My sisters aren't doing this", it worked a treat!

BTW The first of the firsts after Mum's passing is this Friday.
My dear father, Bill's 80th birthday.
Unfortunately due to prior commitments, I can't be over there to share this day with him but I will be going back over to Adelaide on the Easter weekend for a belated pseudo celebration.
He doesn't want to make a fuss due to the timing, but he has been an amazing pillar of strength for the family over the last couple of years during Mum's failing health. This man deserves the world.

The Doc is going to be quite pleased with me that I don't need it. All I need from him is a prescription for my pain meds.

A dreary April 1st here. Looks like rain. We do still have some snow on the ground. Not as much as we normally would this time of year since we haven't had any real snow storms since January. That hasn't happened in a long time.

Well, off to have brekkie and get some ffuts done. Still working on the last of the financial aid forms for the two in college. I should have that wrapped up by today.

Have a great day/night everyone! Hopefully, I can stop back later if my internet doesn't go down again.

Not good to hear about more flooding over in
Australia.
It would be ok if some of the other parts of the country, who are short on water, could benefit, but that doesn't happen

Gail I am supposed to be on a diet but lately haven't been doing very well. Maybe I need to think of a good reason I need to lose the weight for.
Next month we may be starting to plan a holiday to Florida, once Richard's cousin gets back there from her time in Dominica. Maybe then I will have a reason to keep to the diet.

Good Maen, folks! Just popping in to say "hi" and to ask if anyone else has been having trouble getting onto "easy". I've been trying for 15 minutes, and all I get is a white screen! By the way, Gath must be back because my new avatars have been approved.

Hi Jane - I too have been unable to get into Easy, just got a white screen. Fortunately, after the problems early last year, I learned to save the Forum in my favourites. Don,t want to feel completely isolated. I'll keep trying for a little while, then I'll have to go to bed.

Good Maen Sudoluland! We have a bit of sun this morning. I will enjoy it while it lasts.

Brenda, nice reason to loose weight, for a trip. Will you be anywhere in the USA other than Florida? what part of Florida will you visit? If you have said before, CRAFT got it, I do good to remember where my daughter is in FL. hehehe

Where is Coffts Harbour? Of course I had not heard of the flooding there. shucks, Suzy, the reader of all news, has not mentioned it, did it not make your news Suzy?

Gail, Suzy, I am a list maker, but like Gail, if I find I am doing things not on the list, will add them for the satisfaction of crossing them off hehehe. Things carry over on my lists some times, but lists do keep me on track.

Bean, good to hear you are feeling better. I should visit your link to the flower show, I enjoyed seeing last year.

Oh, lovely, Jane, especially with the socks.
My grandies have several pairs of Crocs each in varying colours - pink, purple, lime green (for the girls), black or grey for the boy - and then they attach these little things (icons/smilies) all over them. Apparently very trendy.

JANE, love your crocks with socks photo! hehehe

I am still wearing my crocks every day. I only put on socks twice all winter. I am not sure why crocks keep my feet warm, but as they were always cold before crocks, I will take it and be thankful.

MizT - I don't remember life before Crocs! I have them in black, white (2 pair), tan (just about worn out), red and green (the only genuine Crocs - the rest are "crock-offs"). If they made a tennis-shoe version, that's ALL I'd wear!!! Enjoy your breakfast. Sounds yummy!
