Spotted that the young man who first made me an auntie was online in facebook and ended up having a long chat there. Haven't seen him since mum's funeral so it was really good to chat...there are so many places you can chat on the computer!!!

I finished Water For Elephants, the ending surprised me but I loved it! Not sure what I shall read next, OH, books due back at library, guess I will find something new when I return them.

LIZ, sorry you are having problems with your family this season. I would be tempted to tell that brother who said "what can I do for you?" that I wanted 15 minutes of his undivided attention, thank you please, and you can at least pretend you are enjoying this conversation. Do I need to borrow Tami's Troublemaker handle today?? Tricia the Troublemaker has a nice ring to it also hehehe.

I was my nephew I was chatting with. He made me an auntie on the day of his birth...I was 19 - 20 when he was born...my eldest brothers first child. He was living in NZ for years and it is good to have him back in the country.

I combed my hair and made my bed, hiping for a video chat, YEP, if bed were unmade and hair a mess, would find 3 or 4 to chat with. such is life!

yesterday my bed was such a jumble with all my clothes on it! AND I have lot of clothes, my vice, I buy clothes. Usually on sale and only if it goes with something I already have or is a complete new outfit. Last spring hubby and I lucked into a ging out of business sale, and I found long sleeved shirts for me, 4/$10. You better believe I got 4 new ones! Pants in my size were all gone, but I am loving the shirts, they are cotton with a touch of Lycra to keep their shape, and feel so nice to the touch. One is a a cherry red ribbed, and if it is cold Christmas weekend will be my Christmas outfit for our family party. hehehe. Here you plan 2 outfits for Christmas and Thanksviging, one if it is very warm and one if it is very cold. It could be either. Lst christmas we were on the deck in short sleeves and the house was too hot just from all the people. One year, it was SNOWING and some of the family that was traveling did not get here.

Finally caught up with MzT via webcam this a.m. - had a wongerful visit with her and a loverly tour of her beautiful bedroom.

Lizzy, Suzy and Stella - it is amazing how much family can muck up a beautiful holiday - we have it here on my end too, but not nearly as much since my mom passed.

Beanie Baby - how cool that you got to visit with your nephew for so long - is it the one I've seen pictures of in your back yard?

Friends. It's raining and the temp is dropping. This rain will turn to sleet/ ice in a few minutes, since it's below freezing out there.
IH is gone for the day. Believe it or not, he's having lunch with the Governor of Kentucky. He's on a lot of committees.... he loves meetings.... and one committee is a Governors Council.
